Where every hire stands.

HR sees each hire's progress, who has it now and when they were last contacted.

  1. Four gates

Legal, identity, payroll and operational, each with its steps done.

  2. Who has it

The step's owner now, and when they were last contacted.

  3. Each step's owner

The new starter, HR or the PRO, each asked only for their own step.

  4. Nothing skipped

A step cannot be completed while a required document is missing.

Each person sees their part.

And a PRO never sees a salary.

Your team

  • HR starts each hire and sees every step.
  • A manager follows their own new starters, read only.

The people outside it

  • The new starter sees only their own steps, on a link with no login.
  • A PRO sees only the steps they handle, with the starter's name and start date.
  • A PRO never sees salary or bank details, and that cannot be switched off.

Their bank details become the account payroll pays, from their first day.

Questions about onboarding

How does employee onboarding work in Global Kinect?

HR starts the hire, and the new starter gets a secure link with no login, where they complete their own details and documents. Each document is checked against their country's list as it arrives, and a step cannot be completed while one is missing. A PRO handles the government and visa steps and never sees salary or bank details. The new starter joins payroll from their start date.

Does the new starter need an account?
No. They use a secure link that is theirs alone, with no password.
Which countries' document lists are built in?
Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Egypt, each for nationals and expatriates.
Can we change the steps?
The steps come from a template for each country, set up with you when you start.

Start with payroll. Add the rest when you need it.
